Technovit Liquid is a popular acrylic that consists of a powder and liquid that, when mixed together, form a strong binding adhesive material. The liquid and powder are mixed together in a roughly 1:2 ratio. Until it hardens, it can be poured and shaped.
After it hardens, it can be sawed, drilled, or filed. It has a number of suggested uses. On cattle a lock or boot is adhered to the bottom of the healthy or unaffected claw, for sole abscesses or foot rot. On horses: repair quarter cracks, or any hoof defects. On small Animals: Replace the connecting rod and K-E clamps for external fixation devices.
