Buck Wheeler, a well known and respected horseman has created a modern adaptation of the Indian 'war bridle' which is a more humane and versatile restraint. It calms unruly horses and is now being used by a growing number of horseman, trainers, veterinarians, and farriers.It fits over a horse's head and applies snug steady pressure behind the ears and under the upper lip.
Horses don't resent it. Plastic coated lip protector is non-invasive, doesn't cause discomfort, pain, or abrasions. While restraining the horse it can be lead, held, saddled, loaded, or ridden. Some uses include loading, clipping, medical procedures, and palpating. Can also be used on donkeys, camels, zebras, and other exotics.
