Provimi Altosid IGR XRB Boluses break the horn fly cycle with the active ingredient (S)-Methoprene. Produces a strong ROI with weight gains up to 15% higher vs untreated cattle. No impact on beneficial insects and non-target species.
Provides reductions in horn flies which cause heifer mastitis and blind quarters. Administer orally using a balling gun, dosing cattle according to body weight at least 30 days before horn flies appear or 30 days prior to the last average frost date. Calves (300-659lbs) Give ½ bolus Cattle (660-1400lbs) Give 1 bolus Do not administer to cattle under 300 lbs or animals too small to swallow the bolus safely. Lasts up to 195 days after the bolus is administered.
