Birthright is a baby pig milk
replacer that decreases mortality, increases average weaning weights and
improved gut health. No animal protein formula. Non-medicated formula, free of
animal plasma and animal fat. When supplementing all litters, it helps decrease
mortality, increase average weaning weight and improves gut health. Contains
patent-pending Microfused essential oils and ActiFibe prebiotic technology to
feed beneficial bacteria and promote immune function while stimulating the
appetite.
All
litters should be supplemented with Birthright Baby Pig Milk Replacer within 12
hours after birth. Mix 5 cups (1.1 lb) of Birthright powder per gallon of
water. Birthright Baby Pig Milk Replacer should be fed cold, from 12 hours of
age to day 14, and then discontinued to encourage the consumption of creep
feed. Creep feed should be fed from 5 to 7 days of age until weaning, even
during the period milk replacer is fed.
To
start milk feeding, place about 1/2 cup of milk in bottom of the milk
dispenser. The noses of 2 or 3 smaller pigs can be dipped in the milk to
encourage consumption. Always keep enough milk in the dispenser so it does not
run dry. Never mix the milk to dilute less than 5 cups. This can cause pigs to
scour. In large litters or poor milking sows, increase the amount of milk
powder to 6 to 7 cups. Be sure to provide fresh, clean source of water in the
farrowing crate for all baby pigs.
The
directions are for Birthright only, not for other baby pig milk replacers.
