KLEBVax SRP is the first vaccine licensed for mastitis infections caused by Klebsiella spp. – an increasingly challenging disease in dairy cattle.

KLEBVax SRP is currently the only commercially available vaccine for Klebsiella mastitis. Data studies have shown the following benefits in cattle treated with KLEBVax according to label directions.
- 42% reduction in somatic cell count
- 71% reduced prevalence of klebsiella mastitis
- 2 lbs in increased milk production, per cow/per day

Typical outcomes of Klebsiella mastitis and why your cows need KLEBVax SRP:
- Recurring infections
- Culling or death in 60 - 80% of cows with Klebsiella mastitis leave the herd within that lactation based on data from Cornell University and Iowa State University.
Dosage:
Shake well before use. Administer 2 mL (1 dose) subcutaneously. Revaccinate in 2 - 4 weeks. Heifers should receive their first dose 30 days after calving. Dry cows should be vaccinated twice before calving. Whole-herd vaccination may be done at any stage of lactation. The need for annual booster vaccination has not been established for this product; consultation with a veterinarian is recommended.
